Tuition and Scholarships
We feel very strongly that every child deserves WINGS. In order to make that possible, we are proud to offer tuition scholarships. Through the generosity of community members and the Diocese of Grand Rapids, Divine Providence Academy has scholarship programs. Annually, we award thousands of dollars, to help offset the costs of tuition.
The first step in order to receive tuition scholarships is to fill out the SmartAid form here:Smart Aid Application The SmartAid scholarship is also referred to as the Bishops scholarship, and the money is awarded to families in the Diocese of Grand Rapids.
Families who belong to other parishes are charged the non parishioner rate. Your parish will provide $1,350 in parish support per child K-8. Please fill out the parish support form here: Parish Support Form
Divine Providence uses SMART Tuition to process tuition payments. For returning families, your plan from last year will
carry over into the new school year. For new families, sign up for SMART Tuition here: Smart Tuition Enrollment Instructions and Enroll with SMART Tuition and SMART Tuition.

Tuition Assistance/Allocation of Tuition
Bishop’s Scholarship and Catholic Secondary Schools
The Bishop’s scholarship is available through the Diocese of Grand Rapids. Any family seeking tuition assistance must apply for
the Bishop’s scholarship.
Scrip Program
Families purchase gift cards from this program, which is offered at each campus. Families may
purchase everything from electronics, food, clothing and gas. Participating Scrip companies
offer rebates at various percentages, which are then applied as tuition credits
Helping Hands Scholarship
The Helping Hands Scholarship is available for families that qualify for the Bishop’s scholarship based on financial need.
Helping Hands is a monthly collection taken at the cluster parish to provide financial assistance to families.
