St. Joseph Campus

The Early Childhood program at St. Joseph campus is home to our 3 and 4 year-old Preschool,  Young Fives, and  Kindergarten. Here, students experience great learning opportunities where they can work, play, laugh, and grow together. Mrs. Annmarie Smith is the Early Childhood Director and Teacher for this program. This is Mrs. Smith’s first year at Divine Providence Academy, and her 29th year in education. She has taught kindergarten for 21 years, and preschool for 7 years. Mrs. Smith is a graduate of Aquinas College, where she studied Elementary Education, and earned a Bachelors of Arts degree with minors in Reading and Social Science. She earned her Masters degree in the Art of Teaching also from Aquinas College. Mrs. Smith is passionate about giving children a positive educational experience to help enrich their faith, and also foster their intellectual, social-emotional, physical, and creative development. She is committed to helping children develop a love for learning in a nurturing environment.

St. Catherines Campus

We are delighted at your interest in our Early Childhood program and we look forward to a great year of learning experiences while we work, play, laugh and grow. The relationship we build with your child and the partnership we share with you will help foster the intellectual, social, emotional, physical and creative development of your child.

Our families are very special to us and you are essential to the success of our Early Childhood program! We invite you to visit often, share your ideas, interests, talents and energy with us. We consider it a privilege to share with you these precious and important years of your child’s life.

At Divine Providence Academy, we believe that a parent is a child’s first teacher and we want to be partners with you. Thank you for letting us travel on this journey with you and your child!

The Early Childhood program at St. Catherine’s is taught by Mrs. Courtney Stone, and Mrs. Hope Rasch and is home to 3 year-old and 4 year-old Preschool.
