St. Joseph Campus

Upper Elementary at St. Joseph campus is home to 3rd-5th grade students and taught by Mrs. Courtney Bowmar. This is Mrs. Bowmar’s second year at Divine Providence Academy, and her 9th year in education. A graduate of Eastern Michigan University, she studied Elementary Education with Minors in Math and Reading. Mrs. Bowmar is the mother of two, has a strong passion for creating a safe environment for all students, and loves to see her students learn and grow in their faith and academics. In Upper Elementary, students focus on gaining independence, working at their just right level, and treating each other with kindness and respect. St. Catherines Campus

The Upper Elementary classroom at St. Catherine’s is currently home to our 2nd through 4th grade students and is taught by Mrs. Krystal Foster. This is Mrs. Foster’s second year at St. Catherine’s. A graduate of Grand Valley State University, she graduated with a BA in Elementary Education with a concentration in English Education. Mrs. Foster also teaches Social Studies in the Lower Elementary Classroom at St. Catherine’s. She has one incredible bonus daughter and is expecting her first child with her husband. In the Upper Elementary classroom, students work on independence, planning and organizing their thoughts, and treating each other with respect and kindness.
